James Burke, an ex-convict, died at the State Insane asylum asy-lum Monday. The man had been confined con-fined to the institution for two years past. Remorse over his crimes drove him mad. Although a harmless maniac, he was given to severe attacks upon himself when flashes of Intelligence would bring back recollections of a murder he committeed in California several years ago.
