Show WITNESS OF THE MURDER Young Farmer Saw Shot Fired That Killed the Chicago Chauffeur. r CHICAGO, Nov. 22. An eye-witness of the mysterious murder of Chauffeur John W. Bate, Jr., has been found In John Hennes, a young farmer who lives a mile from where the automobile containing con-taining Bate's body was discovered. Hennes told the police that on the night of the murder he was aroused about II o'clock by the "chug chug" of an automobile.
