Show GOVERNOR APPROVES ANTI-TOBACCO BILL Six more bills became laws today by having the signature of Gov. Well affixed. af-fixed. This is the last day of the time in which the Governor may act upon the measures, and as he still bas several sev-eral bills left, some of which will not get his approval, he will have to veto them this afternoon or they become laws by the statutory limit. The measures meas-ures signed today were all House bills, as follows: No. 85, by Mrs. Coulter, an act to prohibit pro-hibit any person under the age of 18 ye&rs from buying, accepting or having in his possession any cigar, cigarette or tobacco in any form, or any opium or any other narcotic in any form. No. 132. by Mr. Watts, by request, an act to amend section 5315 of the Revised Re-vised Statutes of Utah relating to the transmission of original papers to the Supreme court, etc. No. 156. by Mr. Spry, an act to amend section 2061 of the Revised Statutes of Utah, relating: to the payment of salaries sal-aries of county officers. No. 157. by Mr. Spry, an act to amend section 1012 of the Revised Statutes of Utah, providing for the payment of certificates issued to witnesses and Jurors in criminal cases for mileage and attendance In the District courts.
