Show COOKED ALIVE IN AN IRON FURNACE Three Workmen Lose Their Lives in Horrible Manner In Plant at Pueblo. PUEBLO.- Colo., June 2. While - ga.ng of laborers were digging a 4- tranch near one of the blast fur- naces at the Colorado Fuel and Iron company's steel works last -f- 4- evening a "bosh," or vent at the basi of the furnace opened with- 4 4- out warning, and molten iron and 4- biasing gas camfe pouring out upon 4 4 them. A number were borne down 4 4 by the weight o the fiery material 4- 4 amid a cloud of hissing steam and 4 4- smoke. Three of the men were lit- 4 4- erally cooked alive, their clothes 4- 4- burned off and skin so blistered 4- 4- that they were unrecognizable. 4- 4- The horrified workmen pulled them 4- 4- out as quickly as possible and rolled 4 4- them in a muddy pool near by. They 4- 4- were then hurried to the hospital, 4- 4 but are suffering agonies, and the 4 4- doctors say they will all die short- 4- ly- The men are Austrians. named 4 4 Mila Zizzich, Joe Zizzlch and Ella 4 4- Karsbanolch.
