Show WELL-KNOWN MINER KILLED AT EUREKA EUBEKA, Oct. 13. Edward A. Nelson, Nel-son, a well-known miner and millman, was instantly rilled yesterday afternoon after-noon by falling Jown a shaft at the Greeley Gold and Silver Mining company com-pany property, in North Tintic. Nelson, in company with his brother, AL was being lowered lito the shaft, which is about 200 feet deep. When the bucket had been lowered a distance of 100 feet a wooden cross-head slipped from the shaft and fell on Edward Ed-ward Nelson, knocking him from he bucket to the bottom of the shaft. Assistance was at once summoned, "but Nelson died before anything could be done for him. The deceased leaves a wife and two children |
