Show TYPICAL GERMAN OUTING ENJOYED Athletic Events, Refresh-ments Refresh-ments and General Fes-, tivities Suggestive of the Fatherland Indulged In. Germans of Salt Lake and vicinity enjoyed en-joyed a typical German outing at Lagoon La-goon yesterday. Over a thousand availed themselves of the chance to revert to thoughts of the Faderland. The day was well spent In. sports, songs, dancing, feasting feast-ing and viewing the attractions at the popular resort. Nothing happened to mar the day's festivities and a more enjoyable en-joyable outing has seldom been spent. A large list of athletic events started at 4 o'clock,' when every one present availed themselves of an opportunity to win a valuable souvenir. Immediately after the race all adjourned to the tables where eatables and drinkables typically German disappeared with surprising rapidity. rap-idity.
