Show i . - - .UTAH STANDS 'WELL. Ben B. Bryan, a member of the Boston Bos-ton brokerage house of Logan t Bryan, who is visiting in Salt Lake, says: "The East has become thoroughly converted con-verted to the permanency of Utah. Up to a short time ago the present season of prosperity was looked upon very much as a spasmodic boom, and the State was regarded as a new field of unknown depth worth while to be at least partially Bounded, but now there are too many unmistakable signs of solidity beneath the present movement tc ignore the importance of Utah and the whole West as a great factor in practicaly all lines of activity. "The East does not look upon this portion of the country from a gambling standooint, but from the thoroughly reliable re-liable investment basis. "Utah stands particularly, high - in Eastern financial circles, and in1 the next; twelve months more capitalists will come to Utah for the purpose of making investments in all lines of activity ac-tivity than ever before. Not only are the mines attracting attention, but real estate, railroads, irrigation and a score of industrial . enterprises offer ideal openings for the man with money." ' |
