' ; Diplomas were awarded to Misses ';Xlose Marie Korous, Frances Korous, Ruth Lavina Owens, Marcta Woodson Lewis, Claire Eugenia Beard, Lulu 1 Dorothy Barr, Nellie Riley, Helen ,'Petrle Blair, Mabel Olive Baltson and Grace Eva Hemenway. 1 Impressive exercises were conducted, In charge of the Rev. George C Hunting, Hunt-ing, superintendent of St. Mark's hos-1 hos-1 pltaL The diplomas were delivered by ; the Rt Rev. Francis Spalding, bishop I of the diocese of Bait-Lake, who gave , a thoughtful address to the young wo- men, each of whom took the Florence 1 Nightingale nurses' oath. Dr. A. C. Ewlng of the hospital staff also spoke briefly of the relations between be-tween the nurse and the physician. , Bishop Spalding was presented with W handsome class pin In token of appreciation ap-preciation for his efforts In raising funds for the new nurses' home. After the commencement exercises a reception and dance were given at the Ladles' Literary club, which was at-, at-, tended by a large number of the friends of the Institution.
