Show EXPIRES AT SIGHT OF DAUGHTER'S DEATH AGONY. ST. LOUIS. Dec. 11. While watching the death agonies of her daughter, Mrs. Eva-line Eva-line Willlnms. who Is 74 years old and who lives at No. 1344 Garrison avenue, dropped to the floor with a gasp and died. The daughter, after lingering' twelve hours, also passed away. A double funeral was held. Mrs. Charles Meade, the daughter, had been ill for some time, but was thought to be recovering. Suddenly she became worse, and was suffering with epileptic convulsions, while her mother stood by ready to afford help. Mrs. Williams covered cov-ered her face with her hands and suddeu-ly suddeu-ly dropped to the floor. Dr. J. Harry Barto was attending Mrs. Meade and requested a neighbor to bathe the face of Mrs. V illlnms. When the convulsions con-vulsions were checked he turned his attention at-tention to Mrs. Williams, but he found her dead. The doctor said it was undoubtedly un-doubtedly the shock of her daughter's sufferings that caused the death of the mother. Mrs. Meade grew worse steadily and died at 11 o'clock the following day. Mrs. Williams was the wife of a proofreader, proof-reader, and Mrs. Meade's husband Is a local newspaper writer. She left two small children. |
