Cor-bett Cor-bett for a fight the terms of which are to be arranged later, it being understood that a new club In Delaware owned by Tom O'Rourke will offer a purse of 330.-00C. 330.-00C. In his letter to Corbett McCoy says he has posted 35000 with a local newspaper as a guarantee of good faith. To Issue a formal challenge for a prise fight is against tbe laws of the State of New York, so the McCoy letter does not deal with any of the details of the contest con-test but simply seeks correspondence on tbe subject McCoy says he Is Induced to enter the ring again only because of the unsatisfactory unsatis-factory termination of his former fight with Corbett which he admiu left a cloud on his record as a pugilist, and because be-cause he believes he is the better boxer of the two.- He declares that under no consideration will he talk of a match with any other man than Corbett. James J. Corbett when asVed last night concerning the challenge, r 1: "McCoy made a great blunder In asking ask-ing me to fight I am an actor, and my ambition is to become a great actor..
