He never loft the table, lie caught Leon Gillette cheating cheat-ing and stabbed him. Gillette seised a hatchet and literally cut off Duvulko's head. Six men were playing at 1629 Penn avenue. ave-nue. Duvulko was losing heavily and evidently evi-dently suspected that Gillette was not playing fair. It came Gillette's deal. Duvulko Du-vulko watched him closely, looked at his hand and threw it on the board, crying, 'Curse you. you're cheating!" Duvulko held a pair of aces and a pair cf eights, "the dead man's hand." He sprang at Gillette, who tried to throw his hand on tho discard, but Duvulko Du-vulko seised his wrist. Gillette had seven cards, five 'of them queens; two queens of clubs. Duvulko drew a knife and cut Gillette Gil-lette on the forehead. Gillette, a muscular muscu-lar young man, grabbed a sharp hatchet from on top a box; tha auel ended when Gillette burled the hatchet in Duvulko's' reck, severing his head save for a fragment. frag-ment.
