Nov.' d-There were feverish fe-verish and excited advances at the opening open-ing of the stock market taday in a large number of special stocks. The majority of standard stocks, however, were quiet and rather sluggish with a sprinkling of small losses. Tennessee Coal rose 2. Anaconda 8 over last night. Prices varied half points between be-tween sales and several points on quickly succeeding sales on an upward and downward down-ward range. Lead's extreme upward rush was 8 above last night; Tennessee Coal 4Vt and Colorado Fuel 2. Lead dipped as much as 3 In the interval. Tennessee Coal 2 and Sloss-ShefTield Steel relapsed to Hi under last night. Missouri Pacific. Rock Island preferred. Wabash preferred. Locomotive preferred.
