Show TWO PLEAD GUILTY IN "SUIT-CASE" TRAGEDY. BOSTON. Nov. 28 Iuls W. Crawford snd William E. Howard, alias Hunt, pleaded guilty today to charges of being accessories after the fact to the death of Susanna Gears, the victim of the Win-throp Win-throp suit-case tragedy. They will be sentenced sen-tenced later. Dr. Percy D. McLeod, who had pleaded not guilty to a charge of being accesscrv to the crime, was placed on trial. A Jury was quickly obtained. The Indictment charges McLeod with having beenn accessory ac-cessory to the act of performing the illegal operation which resolted In Miss Geary's death, and also with being an accessory to the concealment of the crime. |
