The rooms were gay with red flower. Mra. W. P. Riser poured tea. and Mis Alice Goodwin served punch. MI8S ANTOINETTE LAMBOURNE was the guest of honor and Mrs. John C. Cutler the hostess at an afternoon affair af-fair yeeterdav that was voted a great success by the guests. The decorations In the parlor and hall were white and yellow chrysanthemums. The dining-room was done in red. and refreshments were served from email tables. Many red hearts on crimson ribbons were suspended suspend-ed from the chandeliers, while the place cards were also done In red hearts. A floral guessing game was the feature of the afternoon entertainment. The hostess hos-tess was assisted by Miss Mabel Lam-bourne, Lam-bourne, and Miss Daphne Batcman. FRANK W. BURKE of American Falls is In the citv for a short stay and is being entertained by hi sister, Mrs. R. M. Channing. MRS. JITLIAN KNIGHT reoelved her friends yesterday afternoon informally, at the home of lux sister. Mrs. Graham F. Putnam. SINGISER and Mrs. Rathman left last night for Sioux City. Ia.. where they will stay for several weeks. WILLARD DONELSON of Denver is in the city tor a short time, visiting with friends. MRS. ROSEMARY GLOBZ-WHITNEY sailed for Liverpool last Saturday. 8he will open a concert engagement In London. Lon-don. December 1, and will later visit Berlin. Vienna. St. Petersburg and Paris, the engagement to cover a period of two years. MISS HAZEL POND is here from Logan, visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Pond. e MRS. C. H. GRIFFIN and her daughter. daugh-ter. Mrs. Thomas, will leave for the East next week. They will see the big Thanksgiving Thanks-giving football game between Michigan and Chicago, in Chicago.
