He is suffering with fwhat is known as barber's itch, a disease dis-ease that is said to be as contagious as smallpox. In a day or two his face was broken out with sores. He consulted a physician, who has been treating him. one side of his face has now been cured, l.ui the other side presents a sorry appearance ap-pearance as a result of the malady be is alleged to have contracted in the free barber shop. The State Board of Examiners of Barbers took the matter up and had the victim placed in quarantine. The City Board of Health also took a hand in the i-a?e and had the barber shop closed for a day and thoroughly fumigated.
