"Wall. ; chairman of the Board of Public Works, asks that an Investigation be made un- ! der the resolution of Councilman Tud-denham Tud-denham compelling -city employees' to conform to established grades estab-lished estab-lished by the city. ' ' : k . ' -' Col. Wall asks that the Council ascertain ascer-tain ,if the grade ln'Brlgham street established es-tablished on September 21. 1904. has been carried out in the paving of the street. He further declares that 110,000 has been wasted in an attempt to establish estab-lish an Inconsistent grade. Should this be found true he declares the. expense ought to be charged against the city or the bondsmen of the city officials responsible. re-sponsible. . - i . On account of trouble between the Board of Public Works and the City Engineer's office, the Council is asked to finish the work along Brlgham street. According to Col: Wall, the City Engineer's En-gineer's office refuses to furnish necessary neces-sary lines and grades without a direct order from the Council.
