A Hammond 51 an of the cit city water department died Saturday at 2 a a. a m. m at his home in City creek canyon canon following a heart attack Mr Mi- Hammond had been affiliated with the water department for ten years He was in charge of the Brighton watershed in winter and in summer was stationed at the City creek high line station He was born in Elm Creek Neb in 1880 and had been a resident of SaI Salt Lake for eleven years He was a member of John F. F Critchlow camp No 3 t United Spanish War Veterans Surviving in addition to his widow are a son son Clarence Hammond of Salt SaIl Lake a brother Carl Hammond of Salt Lake and a sister Mrs W. W F. F Brower of Waynesboro Va
