Mrs. Baum's sister-- in-law and son, Mrs. Elbert Rogers and Errol Jack, accom-panied her here. No. 2 Firemen's auxiliary was entertained Monday evening by Mrs. John T. West. The thirteen present engaged in bridge, with Mrs. Lawrence West, Mrs. Ross Beckstead and Mrs. E. E. Long-fellow playing high. Attending the visitation of Grand officers to Miriam chap-ter No. 14, O.E.S., at Ogden, were Mrs. A. C. Larick, grand treasurer, and Mrs. L.L. Watson, Mrs. Charlotte Rasmussen, Mrs. Harold Chesler, Mrs. J.F. Barkle. Saturday Mrs. Harry Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Rasmussen and son, Lee, all of Murray, and Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Cal-vert of Denver, Colo., are visit-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Brisk. Mr. Calvert is taking treatments at Bingham hospital. Mrs. George Zdunich entertain-ed the bridge club the evening of April 17. Mrs. Marvin Throck-morton and Mrs. Ruth Reynolds won prizes. Emanon club met last Friday evening at the home of Mrs. R. G. Frazier of Copperton, who was assisted in entertaining by Mrs. O. S. Jensen and Miss Jenny Buchman. Snapdragons and for-syth- ia were used in the living and dining rooms. Covers were placed for eight at seven o'clock dinner. Bridge prizes went to Miss Mabel Neprud and Mrs. Jensen. Mrs. A. C. Larick entertained Monday afternoon for her bridge foursome. Enjoying dinner and dancing Saturday evening at the Gaucho club, Salt Lake City, were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Beck, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Delaney, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jimas, Andy Jimas, Kath-leen Grabner, Chris T. Praggas-tis- , Margaret Mannion, John Strike of Salt Lake City and Pa-tricia Mannion. Mrs. Ray E. Spendlove return-ed Sunday from Leesville, La., where she visited several weeks with her husband, Lt. Spendlove. Mr. and Mrs. Ed W. Johnson and daughters, Darlene and Mary Alice, and Mrs. James M. Suf-leng- er and daughter, Jana Joan, were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Her-man Bauman of Salt Lake City. The occasion was the birthday anniversaries of Mrs. Bauman and Darlene. Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gust en-tertained at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blaine Wells of Copperton and Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Sturgill. Mr. and Mrs.' James Hill and family spent the week-en- d in Salt Lake City as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Haslam. Edwin Green way of Salt Lake City will spend two weeks at the Hill home in Telegraph. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Allred vi-sited Mr. and Mrs. Timothy in Midvale last week-en- d. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Cole and daughters, Barbara and Margo, visited Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Wil-liams in Salt Lake City last week-end. Barbara enjoyed a birthday dinner with her grandmother, Mrs. J. R. Mrs. Robert Burke and Mrs. Gregory Tyson attended the fu-neral Wednesday morning at Holy Rosary church for Sandra Kay Peterson. Wedding Sunday At a double wedding ceremony at the Hellenic Orthodox church in Salt Lake City, the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Mastoris of Salt Lake City plighted their troth, Miss Mary becoming the bride of Spirro J. Mannos of Farmington and Miss Sophia ex-changing vows with Paul G. Saltas of Copperfield, a son of George Saltas. Mr. Mannos is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Man-nos of Farmington. The Rev. John Vassiliades officiated at the cere-mony. The Mastoris sisters were gowned alike in ivory satin en train with full length lace edged veils. They carried identical bou-quets of y. At-tending the brides were Mrs. John Mannos of Copperfield, ma-tron of honor, and Miss Mary Alexander of Boise, Ida., maid of honor, who wore pink organdy. Bridesmaids, frocked in pink or-gandy, were Miss Helen Mannos of Farmington, Miss Matina Katis of Copperfield, Miss Helen Kiri-ka- s and Miss Mary Kouris of Salt Lake City. The Home Guards held a slum-ber party last Friday at Highland Bov Community House. Staff Sgt Joe Loverich sent Japanese trophies home to ms sisters from New Guinea. A press release from Hollandia, Dutch New Guinea, listed Loverich as one of the four Utahns arriving with the first troops coming there.
