Show IMPORTANT WATER MEETINGS SET FOR NEAR EUTURE Aiv urgent cull upon all Utah wilt or users, especially those interested in-terested in the division of the waters wa-ters of the Colorado, has been miule for them to attend the meetings meet-ings and public hearings of the Compact Committee of the basin states, to be held beginning October Oc-tober 2S. The meetings, according to Ed. H. Watson, Utah member of the committee, are of utmost importance import-ance to bring out the facts on Utah's needs and claims in the division di-vision of the waters. Chairman of the committee is Harry Bashore, ' former commis-i commis-i sioner of reclamation for the U. S. government He has called the meetings for Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. The Utah meeting will be held on October 31, at Price, Utah. It is scheduled for 1:30 p. m. in the Price city auditorium. Ed. H. Watson, state engineer, and Gro-ver Gro-ver A. Giles, attorney general, will be official Utah representatives. Other meetings scheduled are at Rock Springs, Wyoming, October 2S, under the direction of C. L. Bishop; Grand Junction, October 30, under the direction of Clifford Stone; Farmington, New Mexico, November 2, under the direction of Tom McClure. |
