Show FUNERAL TODAY IN FOURTH WARD FOR MRS. SARAH KENDALL Mrs. Sarah Ann Charlesworth Kendall, 77, resident of this city since 1928, died Sunday evening of a lingering illness, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Francis R. Beardall. Bear-dall. She was born at Kanosh, Utah, January 28, 1869, a daughter of Thomas and Alice Barrows Charlesworth, early pioneers. She married John Kendall of Detroit, Mich., in April 1892, at Fillmore. She made her home at Colbran. Colo., from 1900 to 1906, and then moved to Grand Junction, where she lived until her husband's death in 1928, when she moved to Springville. She has . always been active in church work, having been a Relief Society teacher many years and her home in Colorado was always open to missionaries. She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Mrs. Beardall and Lloyd Kendall of Springville; George C. Kendall of Heber City . Floyd Kendall of Grand Junction; also nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Owen Crane of Colbran, Colo. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Thursday at 2 p. m., in the Fourth ward chapel, under direction direc-tion of Bishop Glen Christensen. Friends may call at the Beardall home, Third South, Fourth East street, before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary. |
