Show STATE WILL OFFER CENTENNIAL ITEMS AT AUCTION State departments Tuesday began be-gan shopping through a circular listing more than $24,000 in used Centennial property which will be disposed of by the state finance commission. The inventory, ranging from baskets to bicycles, will be offered first to state departments with the state fair board getting top priority, prior-ity, said J. Henry McGean, finance fin-ance commissioner. Property not purchased by the various state departments de-partments will be offered to the public in advertised bids, the highest high-est bidder winning. Single exception to the state-first state-first rule will be disposition of the flashy convertible coupe placed at the use of the Centennial queen. This 1946 DeSoto, valued at $2246.11, will be offered to the public in advertised bids. The state fair board is expected to purchase the log ticket booth now at the corner of Main and Second South. It will be transferred trans-ferred to the fairgrounds for use there. Hundreds of other items, ranging rang-ing from office furniture to stage props, , tools and electrical and sound equipment, will ' be taken over by other departments at list price, he said.
