Show KIWANIANS TO HEAR CURRENT . TOPIC TONIGHT Annual Club Hallowe'en Party Announced For Thursday, October 30 Th-e Kiwanis club program this evening is being arranged by Reese Anderson, toastmaster, who has secured Edward Bogges of Salt Lake City as the speaker. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p. m., at Chicken Roost. Mr. Bogges, sales manager of the radio and electronics division of General Electric Supply company, com-pany, Salt Lake City, will talk on frequency modulation, and in connection con-nection with his talk will give demonstrations with a large combination com-bination radio. The topic is expected ex-pected to be of special ' interest and a full membership is desired. Announcement is also made this week of the annual Hallowe'en party for Kiwanians and their partners, scheduled . for next Thursday evening, October 30. Vic and Mary Frandsen are in charge of arrangements, and assure as-sure everyone an evening of fun. The chairmen suggest that all should qome to the party in informal infor-mal attire, not necessarily a costume, cos-tume, but overalls, aprons or hunting attire, anything suggestive sugges-tive of the harvest season. It is further announced that a grand prize will be offered during dur-ing the evening to the clubman who can recall the meanest trick he ever perpetrated on a Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en night in "the good old days." Annual club election is planned for November 6, the ballots to be mailed out shortly after the October Oc-tober 30 meeting, according to .Clarence L. Jensen, secretary. |
