The governor urged "the state, counties, cities, towns, communities, communi-ties, churches, schools, the press, radio and all other appropriate organizations to cooperate in providing pro-viding memorial services in every community of Utah honoring all courageous representatives of our commonwealth who gave their lives in their devotion to the cause of liberty and democracy. NOVEMERER 16.SET TO HONOR DEAD OF WORLD WAR II Sunday, Nov. 16, is designated by Gov. Herbert B. Maw as a special memorial day in Utah honoring hon-oring the state's World War II dead. In a proclamation issued as trains bearing the bodies of war dead from Pacific areas began arriving ar-riving at western United States points under the government's repatriation re-patriation program, Gov. Maw called on every community in the state to plan memorial rites. Details of mass memorial services serv-ices to be held the same day at the state capitol are in charge of |
