Show on out and let the world know where they stand. Jesus Himself Him-self said, "They that are not for me, are against me, and they that gathered not with me, scattereth abroad. Men like J. Edgar Hoover, our FBI chieftain, has stood up, and he has called for all citizens to "stand up and be counted," and it is nothing but fair that the people know where the ministers stand in this matter. America, as a whole, notwithstanding a few low-bred politicians like Henry Hen-ry Wallace, Claude Pepper, and a few others whom we will name presently, has repudiated the CIO, and have said that it is "NOT A LABOR ORGANIZATION, BUT A RACKET," but our ministers say, "WE ARE NEITHER FOR NOR AGAINST." The CIO would sell the Churches down the river, they would destroy every vestige of righteousness in this country; they did not rid their organization of Communists over in Atlantic City recently, though they admitted that they were "pestered with them.' They "made like ' they would purge the situation, but they hushed up right quick, and you never heard anything more about it. As a matter of fact, they knew'that it was impossible to purge out the Communists. Had they run the Communists out, there would have been but little left. The ministers of the city will have their next meeting Monday at the Y. M. C. A., and we will await the consequences conse-quences of that meeting. Ramsey took them by surprise, maybe, but they have had time to think it over, and we wonder what they will do about it. Pilate "washed his hands" of the blood of Christ, and we are wondering if the preachers will attempt to do the same thing. We do not believe they will, and let us hope that they will repudiate the CIO s invitation to "come into the churches. The CIO says: "John L. Lewis is right". what do the ministers think about it? ' Come on out, brethern, and let the people know HOW YOU STAND! I won't let anybody hurt you! . Columbia (Georgia) Tribune (Independent) says: WHAT WILL THE PREACHERS DO ABOUT IT? John Ramsey s appearance before the Ministerial Alliance in Columbus recently was a gesture sponsored by the Federal Fed-eral Council of Churches of Christ in America, and it is a well known fact that the Federal Council is as modernistic, and otherwise off brand organization, as can be found, claiming to represent many Christians in the country, but as a matter of fact, their claims are false. While Mr. Ramsey is working directly under the auspices of the CIO, he is being backed by the Federal Council, and it may be that this is the reason some of the preachers were opposed to making a protest against him, and speaking out in meetin against his unholy, and ungodly proposal. The CIO is a Communistic, Atheistic organization, and the ministers should know this, but yet they say, WE ARE NEITHER PRO NOR CON'V-lhey have failed to take a stand against this organization, backed by, and filled with Communists. The preachers must take a stand, or otherwise the general public will continue to brand them as "fence slraddlers," and that it what they will be, unless they come |
