Show v Local Couple Honored With ception A lovely social event of the week-end was the wedding reception recep-tion honoring Phyllis Diamond, daughter of Earl Diamond, and Reese Allan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Allan, who were married 'February 1, in the Salt Lake temple. tem-ple. They were accompanied to the temple by Bishop and Mrs. Howard Maycock. The reception was held in the First ward amusement hall, and was attended by approximately 250 relatives and friends. The bride chose for her wedding wed-ding gown a beautiful white satin with lace trim; her veil was finger tip length and was caught with seed pearls. Her corsage was of rosebuds and gardenias. Elerey Leslie was the bride's only attendant. attend-ant. A program was given, together with dancing, and refreshments were served. The groom recently enlisted with the Navy Reserves and is awaiting his call. In the meantime, mean-time, the bride and groom are making their home in SpringviUe. In honor of the bride, her friends entertained at a miscellaneous shower last Wednesday evening at the home of Lela Rae Thorpe. Games and lunch were features of the occasion. |
