Show cRgception Honors Qouple Wed in S. L. Temple Sgt. and Mrs. Reid Garlick, who were married in the Salt Lake temple on Jan. 23, received congratulations and good wishes from approximately 250 relatives and friends attending their wedding reception Tuesday evening in the Lake View hall. Mrs. Garlick is the former Beth Wilkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wilkinson of Vineyard, parents of the bride, were host and hostess on the delightful de-lightful occasion and were assisted assist-ed in receiving the guests by Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Garlick of'Map-lton, of'Map-lton, parents of the groom. The bride was carmingly attired at-tired in white silk chiffon. She wore rosebuds in her hair and held a bouquet of roses. Her attendants, attend-ants, appearing in charming for-mals for-mals in pastel shades, included Janet Clegg, Gladys Garlick, Clarice Clar-ice Kirk and Norma Babcock, as bridesmaids. Mrs. Wilford Mower, sister of the groom, was matron of honor and Wilford was best man. Wanda Wilkinson and Ann Egbert were flower girls. The evening's entertainment included in-cluded an interesting program with Joy O. Clegg toastmaster, and refresments served under direction di-rection of Mrs. J. H. Kirk. Sgt. Garlick has returned to his station at Van Nuys, Calif., and his bride will remain here for the present. |
