The bride is the former Ruth Robertson, nurse cadet, at the L. D. S. hospital. FRIENDS ENTERTAINED WITH SEWING, VISITING A group of friends enjoyed an evening of sewing and visiting together to-gether with tasty refreshments, at the home of Mrs. Dorothy L. Johnson, John-son, Saturday evening. Present were, Mrs. Lillian O. Boswell, Mrs. Marian T. Mikesell, Mrs. Carol B. Dalton, Mrs. Josephine Jose-phine E. Dalton, Gladys Weight, Norma Roylance, Mary Rust, Mad-elyn Mad-elyn Weight, and Ruth Hansen of Provo. MRS. CHRIS SORENSON ENTERTAINS FRIENDS Mrs. Chris Sorensen was hostess to a group of friends at a delightful delight-ful evening's entertainment at her home in Mapleton. Tie evening was spent in playing play-ing games and telling stories of childhood days. A tasty lunch was served to the following: Mr. and Mrs. John I. Holly, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Whiting, Whit-ing, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Aldred, and Mr. and Mrs. Sorensen. ,BUENO AMIGO CLUB AT REGULAR MEET The regular meeting of the Bueno Amigo club was held at the home of Mrs. Blanche Beardall Friday evening. Sewing was enjoyed en-joyed early in the evening and later, lat-er, a delicious lunchen was served. Also, 500 was played, with prizes going to Mrs. Naomi McKee and Faye Roundy. Those attending were, Mrs. Ruth Webber, Mrs. Naomi McKee, Mrs. Beth Johnson, Mrs. Thelma Carter, Car-ter, Mrs. Ranore Hatfield, Mrs. Vera McKee, Mrs. Thelma Beardall, Bear-dall, Mrs. Lula Logan, Mrs. Lola Coombs, Mrs. Elaine Marchant, and Faye Roundy, the latter three being from Provo. SIXTH WARD JUNORS ENJOY PARTY Members of the Sixth ward MIA Juniors, under direction of their leaders, Maurine Child and Gladys Gla-dys Weight, were entertained with a party Friday evening. The group went to the movie and later assembled at the home of Mrs. Art Oakley where games and refreshments were enjoyed. |
