Show Personal News Notes Mrs. RaNae D. Stone is spending spend-ing several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stone at So.uthgate, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Stone have been spending the winter in California, Cali-fornia, but expect to return to Springville this spring. Dr. and Mrs. Nephi Packard of Ogden visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Johnson, and other relatives here early this week. Dr. Packard, a former Springville dentist, is past eighty years old, and is still practicing prac-ticing dentistry work, "making more teeth than ever before in my life," he said. Mr. and Mrs. James Rothwell have returned to Springville from Leslie, Ida., and will be here indefinitely. in-definitely. Mrs. Marvil G. Flom and son Douglas have returned to Springville Spring-ville after spending two months at Ventura, Calif., with Mr. Flom before he left for overseas. They also visited a month with Mrs. Flom's brother, J. O. Packard in . Oakland, and with Mrs. Dora H. Ellis in Berkeley, Calif. Mrs. J. S. Carter and Mrs. Wel-by Wel-by Groesbeck and daughter, Mrs. Maxine Seamons, have just returned re-turned from Sari Diego, Cal., where they spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Bert .Carter and family. Mrs. James Brailsford (Shirley Wheeler) spent the week-end with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Crandall and family, fam-ily, at Ogden. Mrs. Alma Gets and daughter Lois of Tampa, Fla., are visiting at the Elmer Bird home in Mapleton. Maple-ton. Mrs. H. S. Russell of Palisade, Colo., was a Springville visitor on Monday. Mrs. Russell, a personal friend of Miss Marguerite Pearson, Pear-son, the artist, was especially interested in-terested in the high school art and spent part of her time here at the Art building. Mrs. Delia Johnson of Salt' Lake City visited friends and relatives in Springville Monday. She came to attend the wedding reception of her grandson, Dick H. Johnson John-son and Donna Whitney, Mr. and Mrs. Will Llewellyn of Rupert, Ida., are spending a few days with relatives and friends in Springville and Provo. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Weight had as their dinner guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Will Llewellyn of Rupert, Rup-ert, Idaho, their daughter, Mrs. Elery Benson of Newton, Utah, and Mrs. J. Ross Weight of Provo, who was a week-end guest at the H. M. Weight home. |
