Show LIONS SET DATE FOR CHARTER NIGHT PROGRAM Provo Sponsored Club To Get Charter At Banquet Program, Dance, On March 3 One of the largest functions of its -kind is planned for Saturday evening- March 3, when the newly organized Springville Lions club members will conduct their Charter Char-ter Night banquet, program and dance. The affair will be held at Memorial Me-morial hall, beginning at 8 p. m., and will include all charter members mem-bers of the club and their ladies, together with a number of visiting officials and other guests. Arrangements Ar-rangements are being made to entertain en-tertain about 300 people. The club is being sponsored, by the Provo Lions club and J. W. Thornton, of the Provo organization, organiza-tion, will be toastmaster. Dr. C. A. King, president of the local Lions, will have charge of the opening exercises. Joseph Robinson, district dis-trict governor of the Lions, together to-gether with the national president are expected to be in attendance. Arrangements for the program are under direction of Frank Morgan, Mor-gan, chairman, with Mell Hay-mond Hay-mond and Harold Whiting other members of the committee. A complete program of the evening's eve-ning's entertainment is being planned for announcement next week. |
