The new arrival has three sisters. Richard Wing spent a few days early this week, visiting relatives and friends in Tooele. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin H. Smith . and son Terry of Tooele visited Monday with Mrs. Smith's parent, par-ent, Mr. and Mrs. John Blanchard. S 1c Don L. Ollerton SK, has been changed from the Navy Yards in Philadelphia, to the USS Leary Rhode Island and expects to leave about Nov. 1, for Europe. ... Mrs. Mary Smart, in company with her daughter Phyllis and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Olson Ol-son of Provo, attended the opera in Salt Lake City Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. King, in , company with Mr. King's mother, Mrs. I. J. King, who has been visiting visit-ing in Springville from Hudson, N. H., for the last several weeks, have returned from a trip to the Northwest and California. , They spent a short time at Ukiah, Calif., viewing the big Redwoods, then up the coast to Oregon and Washington. Wash-ington. Returning by way of Idaho, Ida-ho, they visited a short time at Coeur D'Alene, Ida., and enjoyed riding home through the Salmon River valley. Major and Mrs. Wm. Gleason and little daughter, who recently returned from Germany, in company com-pany with Mrs. Gleason's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Hill of Salt Lake City, visited recently with Mrs. Hill's father, John H. Man-waring Man-waring and family in Springville. Major and Mrs. Gleason and daughter, who was born in Germany, Ger-many, have gone to South Dakota, Dako-ta, where he will teach in college. Mrs. Agnes Eismann, who has been on the staff of the Art City Publishing Company for the last four and one-half years, leaves tonight for California where she will reside in San Francisco with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil F. Halbman. En-route En-route to that city, Mrs. Eismann will visit relatives in San Bernardino, Bernard-ino, Long Beach, and San Diego, where she will visit " at the home of her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Eismann, and make the acquaintance of her little grandson, grand-son, Phillip. She will also visit with relatives in Los Angeles, Huntington Park, and North Hol-I Hol-I lywood, Calif. |
