Mrs. Stevens has ben home (ionio-istration agent at Tooele for the pt two years. The appointment of Mrs. Stevens Stev-ens hringa to two the number of full-t ime demonstration agents (or Utah county. It marks the first time the county has had two such scents on a permanent, year-round year-round basis, although it has had this many during the summer ony for the' past three years. Mrs. Jenniev Poulson, assistant home demonstration agent, has been at work in Utah county for some time. County Ag-ent S. R. Boswell said Saturday the new appointment appoint-ment will enable the county home demonstration and women's activities acti-vities to be greatly Increased. Four-H club work for girls will l,e expanded, he said, and more adult women's organizations will receive instruction and coopera- tion from the county office. Mr. Boswell said the increased force will enabte the office to ive added help to the more than 00 LDS Relief Society organizations organiza-tions in the countyl who have previously requested it, but which the county could not give with only one home demonstration agent. All salaries of county agents and home demonstration agents are paid by the federal government, govern-ment, with, the county furnishing office and travel expense. |
