I VALENA JONES and Mrs. S. Virl Jones, has accepted accept-ed a call to the California mission. She will leave on May 3. A graduate of the Springville high school and seminary, she received re-ceived her degree from the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University and taught school prior to being employed in Salt Lake City. She was a member of the Fifth ward before the recent division which made her a member of the Ninth. ' The farewell in her honor includes in-cludes the following program: opening song, congregation; invocation, invo-cation, G. Ray Hales; talk, J. Y. Bearnson, bishop of the Fifth ward; vocal solo, Elaine Jones; accompanied by Norma Liechty; talks, Miss Jones and Mr. and Mrs. S. Virl Jones, parents of the rriis-sionary; rriis-sionary; remarks, Wilford W. Clyde, bishop of the' Ninth ward; benediction, Harold Harmer. |
