Show Mrs. E. S. Groesb eck Entertains Club Mrs. E. S. Groesbeck was hostess hos-tess at an entertaining meeting of the Ladies Literary club at her home Monday evening. The program pro-gram included an interesting and well given review of the opera, "Madam Butterfly," by Mrs. Maurice Mau-rice Bird. Mrs. Bird also played a number of recordings in connection connec-tion with the review. Also Miss Marilyn Groesbeck entertained with a piano solo. Mrs. Lacelle Sumsion, club vice-president, vice-president, was in charge of the meeting, and during a short business busi-ness session Mrs. Blanch Beal gave a report of the district convention held Saturday at Payson. Mrs. Berton Groesbeck gave a brief report of the Art Tea, following' fol-lowing' which the club voted to send a note of appreciation to the general chairman of the tea, commending com-mending her efforts and those of chairmen working with her for the fine and efficient manner in which every detail of the tea was handled. Preceding the evening's program pro-gram the hostess, assisted by hei daughters Kay and Marilyn, served a nicely arranged luncheon |
