Show THREE TENNIS TOURNEYS BEGIN HERE SOON Three tennis tourneys for all lovers of the fast sport are now in the offering for those who will but sign on the dotted line, dust off the strings of the old racquet, and see to it that matches are run off as per schedule. The firs tourney is that of a men's and women's doubles tourney. tour-ney. The second, a mixed tourney. tour-ney. For entrance into these two tournaments, place your name with Mark Eddington, director, or Art Hughes, by Saturday. These tournaments are being planned to open Monday, August 12. All tennis ten-nis players are urged to participate. partici-pate. The third tourney is the long-delayed long-delayed Jaycee singles contest, which is to be played during the month of August, with the champ being crowned in September. Other members who now desire to enter are urged to contact Reed Averett, committee member in charge of this tourney, I before the deadline Monday, Au-I gust 12. Each participant should pay a registration fee of twenty-five cents. This entry fee will be divided di-vided up between the winner and the runner-up on a 60-40 basis. Fees must be paid before the match is played off, and not later than August 12. Players must contact their op-ponetns op-ponetns to arrange for playing the match and then report the winner to Reed Averett. First round of play is to be completed by August 20; second round, by August 27; third round, September Septem-ber 3; final round, September 10.
