Show LJ : High School Teacher Weds On New Years Mr. and Mrs. William J. Finlin-son Finlin-son wish to announce the marriage of their daughter Norda, to Kenneth Ken-neth W. Gardner, son of Mrs. B. D. Gardner of Afton, Wyo. The ceremony was performed New Years day in the St. George temple. tem-ple. The ceremony was performed by President Harold S. Snow in the presence of immediate members of both families. Honoring the young couple, a wedding reception was held Friday evening in the Leamington ward amusement hall to which approximately approx-imately 200 relatives and friends were invited. The bride was charmingly gowned gown-ed in white crepe with gold trim and she wore a corsage of pink rose buds. Receiving the guests were members mem-bers of the wedding party and parents par-ents of the bride and groom. Susan Finlinson, Ranee Harder and Zina Ashley were bridesmaids and were gowned in pastel colored models of chiffon and net and wore corsages of gardenias and rosebuds. Verdene Finlinson and Gene Oborn, neices of the bride, were flower girls and wore dresses of light blue net. Delos Gardner was best man. Mrs. Earl Greathouse, Mrs. Norman Nor-man Oborn, Mrs. Welby Finlinson Finlin-son and Mrs. Walker Finlinson were in charge of the gift room and refreshments. . The young couple are making their home in Springville for the present. Mr. Gardner is enrolled at the Brigham Young university and expects to complete his course and graduate in the spring. Mrs. Gardner, a graduate of the U. S. A. C, Logan, is instructor in the physical education department depart-ment of the high school and will continue her work until the close of school this spring. |
