Show SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR MRS. E. WATERS Friends and relatives paid final tributes to Mrs. Elizabeth Waters, a former resident of Springville, at funeral services conducted at the A. Y. Wheeler mortuary on Sunday afternoon. Merle Sargent of the Third ward bishopric, was in charge. Mrs. Waters died at L,eGrande, Oreg. last Wednesday, following a short illness. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler Wheel-er and Son Mortuary. Mrs. Waters was born in Salt Lake City on April 6, 1861, a daughter of Thomas and Esadore Beck. She spent her early childhood child-hood in various Utah communities and later taught school. On September 30, 1880, she was married to John B. Waters and they lived in Colorado for a number num-ber of years. She has spent the past eight years in Arizona and in Idaho and more recently in Washington. She is survived by four daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. George Osgood of Weston, Wes-ton, Oreg.; Mrs. S. W. Ennor of Salem, Oreg.; Mrs. Westley Street of Summerville, Oreg.; Mrs. Pete Anderson of Blackfoot, Ida.; also seven grandchildren and seven great granchildren, and six sisters sis-ters and brothers. |
