Show SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR MRS. ELLA CLYDE Friends and relatives paid final tributes of respect to Mrs. Ella Worthen Clyde, 63, at funeral services ser-vices conducted in the First ward chapel Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Clyde did Sunday at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. William Nebek-er, Nebek-er, in Salt Lake City She had been in ill health for several months. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by Claudin Funeral Home.' Deceased was born in Springville, Spring-ville, October 24, 1879, a daughter daugh-ter of Abner and Eliza Tew Worthen. She had lived in Springville Spring-ville most of her 'life, taking part in civic affairs. She was a member mem-ber of the First ward Relief Society Soci-ety and shortly before her last illness, was active on the Red Cross committee- She had been a member of the Alpha Beta club for a number of years. She was married to David Clyde in Springville in January, 1898- He died a number of years ago. Surviving, besides her daugh-ter daugh-ter Mrs. Nebeker of Salt Lake, are two sons, Don M. Clyde, with the U. S. Armed Forces In New Gunea, and Fred Clyde of Grants-ville; Grants-ville; also eight grandchildren and six brothers and sisters, W. A. Worthen, Mrs. D- F. Wightman and Mrs. J- K. Aiman of Springville; Spring-ville; T. A. Worthen of Roosevelt, Mrs. W. P. Benson of Yellowstone Park, Mark Worthen of Cedar City. |
