Show JUSTICE GIVES REPORT AT COUNCIL MEET City Council Appoints Two New Members To Board Of Public library The city Justice of the Peace report, submitted at the regular council meeting Monday night, shows total collections in fines and bail ' forfeited during the month of May at $219. The fines were for ten speeding counts; one, no driver's license; two drunkenness charges; one assault as-sault and battery and one for operating op-erating a business without a license. li-cense. The council also appointed Hugh Baxter of the High school faculty, and Claude E. Eggertsen of the council, as new members of the public library board, succeeding Glen Sumsion, former chairman of the board, and Theron Hall, both of whom have resigned. |
