Show i Mrs. Joseph Jensen of Maple-ton Maple-ton is spending a few days in Ogden the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Keith Bills and family. - Mrs. May B. Jensen of Salt Lake City visited three days during the week end with relatives and friends in Springville. Mrs. George Weight is visiting this week in Provo with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Carrol Waters and family. fam-ily. ' Mr. and Mrs. Dee Miner have had as their guests the past week, Mrs. Miner's brother, Joe Reynolds Rey-nolds of San Francisco, Calif., who also visited other relatives and friends. Mr. Reynolds was born and reared in Springville. Mrs. Marie C. Miller of Glendale, Calif., formerly of Springville, has been visiting relatives and friends in Springville the past few days. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Argyle visited with Mrs. Argyle's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boyer, here the past week enroute to St. George from Char-lotteville, Char-lotteville, Va., where Mr. Argyle has been employed. Mrs. Mary Bird, Mrs. Alberta Hoover and Mrs. Elmina Madsen were in attendance at the luncheon lunch-eon honoring the Japanese Opera Company, at Provo last Friday noon. Solon Wood is up and around again but taking it easy as result of a heart attack which he suffered suf-fered several weeks ago. Mrs. Bobbie Stillion and son were in Springville Moday visiting friends and former bowling associates. as-sociates. Former residents of this city, the Stillion are making their home now in Farmington, N. M., where Mr. Stillion is employed with a gas company. Charles "Skip" Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Anderson is enrolled in the School of Engineering En-gineering at thej University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Clegg came from Dugway Proving Grounds this week to spend two days with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Clegg and little (daughter and son. Mrs. Ida A. Taylor and Nell Starr of Salt Lake City were in Springville last week visiting relatives rel-atives and they were accompanied by a cousin, Mrs. Helen Alleman Hassler of Harrisburg, Pa., who came here by plane to visit relatives, rela-tives, most of whom she had never seen. It was her first trip here and Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Starr took her to visit her cousins, Mrs. Emily S. Crandall, Mrs. Emma Cranmer, Mrs. Jessie Whitney and others during their stay here. |
