Show Springville Couple Making Home in Calif.; Honored at Reception Friday Relatives and friends of the new Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Patrick gathered at the Third-Ninth LDS ward chapel in Springville on Friday evening to honor hon-or the popular newlyweds at a i w.xlding reception. The couple were married earlier in the evening at the home of Mr. ;ind Mrs. John Patrick, parents par-ents of the bri legroom. Bi.shop Frank Berrell of the Fourth ward performed tho double ring 'ceremony 'cere-mony before members of the immediate im-mediate families and close friends. The bride is the former Mary Dal ton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Dal ton also of Springville. For her thrilling moment, the bride wore a lovely ballerina length gown of heavy lace with full skirt and curved neckline. Her veil of bride's ilusion fell finger-tip length from a tiara of seed pearls and hr bouquet was fashioned of split carnations surrounding an orchid from which fell tiny .streamers of ribbon. Mrs. J. D. Dalton, sister-in-law of the bride was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Marlene Oakley, Ann Patrick, Pat Frazier, Joan Oakley and Jeanne Gustav-son. Gustav-son. They were attired in ballerina baller-ina frocks of varied colors and carried colonial nosegays of white carnations and yellow roses. Assitsing the couple in greeting their many friends were Mr. and Mrs. Patrick, Mr. Dalton, and Mrs. Al Knoll, sister of the bride , who stood in place of her mother. I Mrs. Knoll chose a n'ivy blue afternoon af-ternoon gown and Mrs. Patrick one cf fushia both of which were complemented with corsages in matching colors. Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Springer and were entertained en-tertained by string music furnished bv Mrs. Bliss Hoover, Eetty Ann Hoover, and Ann Johnson. Elaine Leyshon and Mrs. Wayne Evans had charge of the guest book and gifts were arranged for display by Mrs. Evan Whitesides,, Lola B. White, Mrs. Charles Snel-' son and Ileen Diamond. The deep golden colors of autumn aut-umn were reflected in the flower arrangements and decorations with silver, green and gold color scheme predominating. A tiny bride and bridegroom against a lacy heart topped tho lovely wedding cake which was decorated with tiny cupids, pale yellow roses and leaves in soft autumn colors. Guests were served by Kathleen Patrick, Carolyn Patrick, Evelyn Leyshon, Alena Lou Fackreil and Harriet Whiting, under the direction direc-tion of Mrs. Madge Leyshon' and Mrs. Arthur Oakley. Immediately following the reception recep-tion the couple left for Los Angeles Calif., where they will make their home at 4121 Halldale. For her traveling attire, the bride chose a tailored suit of soft gray with scarlet accessories. |
