Show Mothers Study Club Hears Current Subjects Mrs. L. L. Culimore of Provo was the guest speaker at the meting met-ing of the Mothers Study Club last Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Nellie Burt. Discussing the subject, "Women in Politics," Mrs. Cullimore told how important it was for women to be well-informed to kep the highest type. of diplomat in office. We must have well-informed women,, wo-men,, she said. In her address, she told how women had become more conscious of their role in political life. Mrs. Philda Finley reported on the recent meeting of the Legislatives Legis-latives Council commenting on points stressed by both Repub-lcian Repub-lcian and Democratic candidates who spoke at the meeting on reclamation rec-lamation and sewage problems as they effect this area. Musical selections were given by Paul Crandall, who gave vocal solos, acompanied by Mrs. Arvilla Robbins and by Louis Johnson, who furnished acordian numbers. Special guests at the meeting included: in-cluded: Mrs. Kay Mendenhall. Mrs. Dick Mendenhall, Mrs. G. W. Friel, Mrs. Blaine Murdock, Mrs. Robbins,, Rob-bins,, Mrs. Taylor Burt and Mrs. Henry Bismark, the latfer two assisting as-sisting Mrs. Burt with the serving tasty refreshments.
