Show Kiwanians Will Celebrate 32nd Birthday Tonight Marking the 32nd anniversary of the organization of the Kiwanis club in Springville, a special program pro-gram and dinner are planned for this evening in connection with a birthday party. The affair, over which Mr. and Mrs. Howard Maycock will preside pre-side as chairmen, will begin at 7 p.m., in the Third-Ninth ward church. All Kiwanians and their partners are expected to attend. A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of 30-year Legion Le-gion of Honor certificates and 30-year 30-year lapel pins to A. Y. Wheeler, Harold Christensen and G. Ray Hales. Special musical numbers will be furnished from the BYU program bureau and' attractive decorations to carry out a patriotic theme will be used on the dining tables. A number of special guests have been invited to the birthday party. President Glen VV. Sumsion will be in charge of the preliminaries noting that the Kiwanis club applied ap-plied for their charter December 21, 1921 and the first installation was held in February 1922. |
