Perkins of this city took charming Miss Connie Small, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Small of Provo, as his bride in June wedding rites and the couple were later honored at a pretty garden reception at the Harold Bunnell home in Provo. The bride was in a ballerina length crystalline ice blue gown fashioned on princess lines. She wore a jacket with standup collar and short sleeves. On her head was a small white hat with a veil. She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Her attendants included her sister sis-ter Jeannette Small as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth Black and Beverly Williams, and junior bridesmaid was Linda Bunnell. Bun-nell. -They wore afternoon dresses and pink and white carnation corsages. cor-sages. Mrs. Small wore a blue lace dress and Mrs. Perkins was in an avocado print. Their corsages were of white carnations. Best man was Ned Perkins and ushering was Don Chadwick. A beautiful three-tiered wedding cake was centered on the serving table flanked by pink and white cosmos. The garden was a mass of pink and white climbing roses and huge baskets of blue delphiniums delphin-iums and white madonna lilies. Soft background music was played. Helping with the gifts were Mrs. Bruce Adams, Eloise Adams and Pat Derenburger. Beverly Simons was in charge of the serving. She was assisted by Linda Roundy, Judy Carter and Peggy Williams. In charge of the guest book was Mrs. Barbara Gordon. |
