Show Miss Margaret Ellen (Penny) Banks, Carl C. Loback Wed in Manti Temple New Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Loback Jr. were honored hon-ored with a wedding reception Wednesday evening, at the Mapleton ward chapel. They were married earlier in the day in the Mantisj LDS Temple by President Anderson. Ander-son. Mrs. Loback is the former Margaret Ellen (Penny) Banks of Mapleton. Friends were received at the reception by Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Banks parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Loback parents of the groom. The bride attendants were Maurine Pulsipher, Pulsiph-er, maid of honor; Carol Carter, Connie Loback, Gloria TJomgard and Melva Loback, bridesmaids. Norman Loback assumed duties of best man for his brother Carl. The bride's dress was made of heavy satin and lace and trimmed beautifully at the collar and sleeves with tiny seed pearls. Her train was accented with yards and yards of ruffles. The bride's crown was of pearls and. the finger tip veil fell to her shoulders. The dress was made by Mrs. Gretha Andrea-son Andrea-son of Mapleton, close friend of the Banks family. The bride carried car-ried a single white orchid surrounded sur-rounded by dozens of baby orchids. The bridesmaids dresses were of pastel shades and they carried bouquets of baby orchids and carnations. car-nations. Both mothers wore pink and had corsages of baby orchids. At the guest book was Carol Pulsipher Pul-sipher who wore a corsage of carnations. car-nations. Trysa Butler and Connie Bremerton were in the gift room. Close friends of the bride's mother helped in the kitchen. The four tiered widding cake was topped with a miniature bride and groom. Colors of pink and white, were carried out by the tiny pink bells and roses on the large white cake. A program climaxed the evening with Porter Leavett as master of ceremonies. The program included: Toast to the bride and groom by Mrs. Ethel Jensen; Readings, Mrs. Helen Campbell and Mrs. Iris Dibble. Dib-ble. Mrs. Norma Cox played the piano. LeVere Tippets and Preston Hooper sang solos. A group of singers from the high school rendered ren-dered 2 numbers and the audience was favored with dancing from a Mapleton dance group directed by Catherine Ann Jensen. Grace Banks and Elsa Andreasen sang the concluding number. The new Mrs. Loback is a grad- uate of Springville high and LDS Seminary. She was an active member mem-ber of the Steno and Pep clubs.
