Show Services He!d Here Tuesday for Former Resident Funeral services were held in Springville Tuesday afternoon at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary Mor-tuary for Mrs. Hazel Scovil Bates, 60, a former resident of this city, who died of a heart attack at her home in Burley, Ida., on Thursday of last week. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. She was a daughter of Roy and Etella Blackett Scovil and spent her early life in Springville attending at-tending schools in this city. After her marriage to Leslie Bates also of Springville, they moved to Idaho and had resided there since. They visited relatives here recently re-cently enroute from a trip to California. Cali-fornia. Surviving are her husband and six brothers and sisters, Robert Scovil .of Orem; Velao Scovil of Burley, Ida.; Douglas Harmer of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Emil Thai-man Thai-man and Mrs. Joseph Gagon of Provo and Mrs. J. R. Vann of Glendale, Calif. |
