Packard are home from Reno, Nev., where they spent two weeks with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs A O. Packard, Jr. Mrs. Orlssa Celventra is spending spend-ing a few weeks with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Fischer and family in New York City. She plans to stay until after the holidays and enroute home will visit with her late husband's folks in Ohio. Pvt. Sterling N. Diamond, son of ild Mr. and Mrs. Ted Diamond arrived arriv-ed home Sunday on leave to spend Christmas with his folks here. He has just completed his basic training train-ing at Fort Ord and will go from . here to Missouri for three weeks training in Engineers school and then on to Virginia for another course. Another son of the Diamonds, Dia-monds, Kent Diamond, is stationed in Hawaii with the Navy. His unit is expected to be sent back to San Diego in the soring. v Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Strong were expected home from Los Angeles, An-geles, Wednesday, where they have spent the past week while Mr. Strong attended a National Scout meeting. Doris May Phillips, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Phillips, is home from a few weeks stay in Price with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bart Bartholomew Barth-olomew (Lucille Phillips) who have a new baby. Mrs. Helen Anderson had as her guests recently her sister and husband hus-band Mr. and Mrs. Floyd R. Lar-sen Lar-sen and three daughters of Grand Junction. Mr. and Mrs. Alma.
