Show Surprise Party Marks Birthday On the occfision of his wife's birthday, birth-day, A. L. Thorpe arranged a surprise party for her on Tuesday evening inviting neighbors, relatives rela-tives and friends. Mrs. Thorpe has been ill for several months. The party also honored a son, Shirley Thorpe, on his birthday. Guests spent a delightful evening even-ing visiting and tasty refreshments with a big birthday, cake, were served to the following: Mr. and Mrs. A. Y.
