Show Impressive Ceremony Marks Tying of Rose Bouquet by Ninth Ward Miamaids - a Education lies at the very root of all our institutions . . Bishop and Mrs. Wilford W. Clyde and Mrs. Maeser Young, stake board member. The Ninth ward Miamaids recently re-cently completed requirements making them eligible to tie their rose bouquet. The ceremony was conducted in connection with a program at which their parents and special guests attended. The entire evening's entertainment was carried out in an atmosphere of beauty and refinement with every detail well planned, making it one long to be remembered by the girls and their guests. Tying of the bouquet was an inspiring in-spiring and impressive ceremony, signifying that the Miamaids of the Ninth ward were united in purpose pur-pose and ideals. During the ceremony, the rose-bouquet rose-bouquet was presented to the MIA president by the class leader, Mrs. Maureen Davis. Taking part in the evening's program pro-gram were: Janice Jensen, class president; Joan Kelly, vice-president; Betty Ann Hoover, secretary; Dixie Robertson, June Thorn, Bon nie Bate, Connie Banner, Bonnie Shipp, Marilyn Moon. The program included a piano selection by June Thorn and Betty Ann Hoover gave a vocal number. Honored guests at the function in addition to the parents, were: |
