Show Music Festival to Be Presented Mon. InSixfh Ward MIA The Sixth ward MIA will present pre-sent a music festival next Monday night at 8 p.m. to climax the winter's win-ter's Mutual program. All ward members and others interested are invited to attend. Titled "Music of America," the festival is under the direction of the music depatment and will feature fea-ture various types of American Music. Members of the Gleaners and Jr. Gleaners will do a Minuet; Explorers will do a Dixie Land jazz band number; the Miamaids will sing some of Stephen Foster's songs and will also do a negro dance; Billy Bird will sing a negro song; the Beehive and Boy scout classes will present Western numbers; num-bers; the ward quartet composed of John Stark, Dick Conover, Ronald Ron-ald Allan, George Naylor, will sing some barber shop harmony numbers; num-bers; Mrs. Ellis Crosby, vocal solo; George Naylor, Saxophone selection. |
