Show Senior High School Graduation Exercises Scheduled Friday, 8 p.m., in Gymnasium . ; ? One hundred and eighteen senior high school students stu-dents will receive graduation diplomas at exercises to be held Friday evening:. May 25, at 8 p.m., in the high school gymnasium. The theme of the program, 'Working Toward A United World,' will be carried out in short talks to be given by graduating students, stu-dents, under the direction of Principal Prin-cipal Paul K. Walker. Prelude music willbe furnished by the high school string ensemble, followed by the procession of graduates. grad-uates. The invocation will be given by Jay Haymond, followed by the welcome address by Bill Whitney, president of the senior class. Anne Merie Fry and Glida Ann Packard will give a vocal duet, followed by an address, "Oriental Civilization," by Helen Ash. A double mixed quartet will sing, "Let There be Music," and Karen Alleman will talk on, "Latin and Greek Civilization." Ann Patrick will give, "Anglo-Saxon1 Civilization." Civiliza-tion." The string trio, composed of Alice Erickson, David Dalton and Stephen Clark, will play, "Reverie" followed' by a talk on "American Civilization" by Huston Wingate. Paul K. Walker will present the graduates and Harold Christensen of the school board, will award the diplomas. The benediction will be given by Verna Biglow.
